Since 2008, I have been working on and off in the Child Protection sector of Uganda. The organization with whom I have worked provides street outreach, transitional housing, education opportunities, and family preservation services for children and adolescents who have been estranged from their communities of origin and as a result, have migrated to life on the streets.

In 2019, I worked in the Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health sector of Ethiopia across four different regions of the country. The organization with whom I worked provides postoperative care, training, and income generating opportunities for women recovering from childbirth injuries as well as prevention initiatives, particularly in communities that lack emergency obstetric services.

In 2015, I studied in Chennai, India for a portion of my Master of Arts in Art Therapy Program. I spearheaded a collaboration with senior secondary school students to create a community mural and a storybook to honor their school's roots and growth.
